Economic Diplomacy: Spearheading the attraction of international investors to the mining and investment sectors, while promoting national strategic opportunities at global economic forums. Building high-level relationships with foreign governments, development banks, and multinational corporations.

National Project Delivery: Directing the implementation of over 13 strategic national projects within a 5-year period — projects valued in the billions — ensuring full alignment with sustainable development goals and national priorities.

Strategic Planning: Drafting master plans for the development of the mining sector and integrating them with major infrastructure projects covering Water, Power, and Transportation. Coordinating between multiple ministries and international stakeholders to align resources and timelines.

Policy Framework: Developing regulatory frameworks and public policy for the water, mining, and environmental sectors at a state level, ensuring compliance with international standards and donor requirements.

Regulatory & Strategic Oversight: Supervising environmental approvals for mega-projects and managing high-sensitivity files, such as the "National Cyanide Protocol," to ensure maximum safety in mining operations and full compliance with international environmental standards.

Water Resource Management: Leading comprehensive studies for water projects, selecting international contractors, and coordinating with global donor agencies (World Bank, EU, JICA, KfW) to ensure long-term water security for both urban and rural communities.

Sustainability & Green Energy: Driving the expansion of clean energy initiatives and waste-to-energy projects, alongside conducting environmental risk assessments for heavy industries and mining operations across the country.

International Cooperation: Coordinating with international development partners to secure funding and technical assistance for water and sanitation projects serving millions of citizens across Burkina Faso.

Water & Environmental Infrastructure: Leading the planning, design, and implementation of drinking water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, desalination systems, pumping stations, and irrigation networks, with a focus on sustainability, reliability, and compliance with international standards. Projects designed to improve public health, industrial efficiency, and environmental protection.

Commercial Operations: Overseeing commercial operations, supply chain management, logistics services, and technical support for mining companies and water utilities. The company provides a wide range of specialized chemical products used in gold mining, mineral processing, and industrial water treatment applications.

Agency Agreements: Managing agency agreements and regional trading operations for strategic products including sodium cyanide, silver nitrate, and controlled industrial materials used in mining operations across West Africa. Ensuring full regulatory compliance and safe handling protocols.

Activated Carbon Production: Leading the development of an activated carbon production facility dedicated to supplying the gold mining sector, strengthening local supply chains and supporting sustainable mining operations in the region.

Strategic Development: Led the strategic development and execution of major industrial and infrastructure projects throughout West and Central Africa, ensuring alignment with international standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.

Water & Infrastructure: Oversaw the design, construction, and operation of large-scale water and wastewater treatment plants, desalination systems, and power generation facilities with capacities up to 3,000,000 m³/day.

Energy Operations: Managed Sopam Energy's 600 MW power generation portfolio across West Africa through HFO-fired and Steam Power Plants. Executed Energy Sales Agreements with governments of Ivory Coast, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea-Conakry under IPP, PPA, and BOT frameworks.

Subsidiary Management: Directed SOPAM's subsidiaries — SOPAM Chem, Energy, Telecom, Concrete, and Logistics — ensuring seamless integration, efficient operations, and sustainable project delivery across all sectors.

Cement & Manufacturing: Managed the establishment of a multi-grade cement plant with a capacity of 30,000 tons/month, directing expansion planning to 42,000 tons/month with Clinker imports from Egypt, Algeria, and Kazakhstan.

Mining Operations: Led active mine operations including White Colt Mining (restored to 12,000 tons/day ore production, 2g/ton recovery grade, 8,640 kg annual gold production) and Kire Group Manganese Mine (operationalized to 50,000 tons/day). Supervised new mine construction and all related infrastructure.

Infrastructure Development: Including the design, construction, and maintenance of mining facilities, as well as the operation of production lines and processing systems to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and safety. Included water pipeline installations for mining sites and nearby villages.

Logistics & Supply Chain: Oversaw multiple departments including logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations, ensuring the continuous flow of materials, equipment, and resources to remote mining locations.

HSE Management: Led strict compliance with international standards for quality, safety, and environmental sustainability including cyanide management protocols, explosion materials handling, and hazardous waste disposal across all operational sites.

Project Portfolio: Technologies covered included conventional and compact water treatment units, Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination systems for brackish and seawater sources, and Demineralization (DEMIN) units using advanced ion exchange achieving ultrapure water quality below 0.1 μS/cm.

Wastewater Portfolio: Directed implementation of MBR, MBBR, SBR, SAF, extended aeration systems, industrial effluent treatment plants including biological, chemical, and physical treatment lines, DAF and GEM oil-water separation technologies.

Additionally conducted 65 environmental impact studies focusing on assessing and mitigating the environmental impact of various industrial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable practices.

Executed 14 industrial wastewater treatment plants for military slaughterhouses, ensuring compliance with environmental and health standards. Also designed and implemented 11 desalination plants for both well water and seawater sources serving military installations and surrounding communities. Coordinated closely with Armed Forces engineering teams throughout all phases of project delivery.

Managed four complete water bottling plant installations including associated gas treatment systems. Supervised desalination plants and full pool water treatment systems for six tourist villages and hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, ensuring compliance with tourism sector quality and safety requirements. Coordinated procurement, installation, commissioning, and staff training for all installations.

Designed and implemented four complete manufacturing facilities for bottled drinking water, juices, and beverages in Sudan, covering process design, equipment installation, and commissioning. Supervised the execution of 6 desalination plants and 4 wastewater treatment plants across various locations. Additionally conducted 7 comprehensive environmental studies to assess and mitigate the environmental impact of the projects in compliance with Sudanese and international environmental regulations.
